DALPUMPS recently demonstrated their expertise and commitment to quality service by completing a major project at a well-known pet food manufacturing factory.
The factory, which operates 24 hours a day, faced significant challenges with their existing pump station located underneath a conveyor belt -making access and maintenance a logistical nightmare.
Comprehensive Solution and Relocation:
Recognising the need for a more efficient solution, DALPUMPS undertook the complete removal of the existing pump station and installed a new system in a more
accessible location external to the factory. This relocation was essential to avoid disruption to the factory’s continuous production schedule.
Efficient Installation:
The installation process involved constructing a new concrete base, laying new pipework to meet the specific needs of the factory, and installing two new, high-performance pumps. Despite the complexity of the task, DALPUMPS ensured that there was no loss of downtime during the works.
Ongoing Maintenance:
To ensure the longevity and efficiency of the new system, DALPUMPS has also secured a service contract to perform maintenance every 6 months. This proactive approach will prevent any future issues and allow the facility to continue normal operations.
