DALPUMPS recently tackled significant issues at three pumping stations at a school in Peterborough.
The pumping stations had no grease traps and had serval issues with the floats not emptying correctly. This was leading to operational inefficiencies and had the potential to cause further issues which would impact on the schools’ day-to-day activities.
Comprehensive Upgrades by DALPUMPS:
The DALPUMPS Team stepped in to upgrade all three pumping stations. This included the installation of new grease traps and rectification of fat build-up around the floats in the chambers. Additionally, a flange adapter was installed to seamlessly connect the old pipework to the new, ensuring a robust and reliable system.
Remedial Works and Wet Well Cleaning:
As part of the project, DALPUMPS carried out essential remedial works. This included the crucial task of cleaning the wet wells – a key component of our pre-planned maintenance contract with the school which occurs every three months. Regular wet well cleaning helps prevent build-up and blockages and keeps the system running efficiently.
